Richland Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Highway 7 While Laying in Road
1 min readRichland, MO (The Lake Tribune) – A pedestrian accident shortly after midnight on Wednesday resulted in the death of a Richland woman in Camden County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Margaret Lytell, 62, was lying in the roadway on Missouri-7, near Thomas Street, when she was struck by a vehicle.
Jackson Lobland, 18, also from Richland, was identified as the driver of the 2005 Ford F250 involved in the incident. The accident occurred around 12:25 a.m. on December 13. Lytell was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 1:30 a.m. by Camden County Medical Examiner Steve Dougan.
The circumstances leading to Lytell being on the road are not yet clear. Her body was transported to Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Camdenton. The Camden County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.
Lobland, the driver of the Ford F250, was not injured in the incident.
