Fatal Car Accident Claims Life in Miller County

Miller County, MO – A tragic car accident late Sunday night on Blue Spring Drive, north of Wedgewood Road, resulted in the death of 61-year-old Jeffrey Ballew from Kaiser. The Missouri Highway Patrol reported that Ballew’s vehicle, a 1999 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight, veered across the center line, left the road, and collided with a utility pole before coming to rest in a field.

Ballew, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene. This incident marks the 46th traffic fatality for the Highway Patrol’s Troop-F this year.

The accident, which is still under investigation, highlights ongoing concerns about road safety and the critical importance of using seat belts. The incident has brought renewed attention to traffic safety measures in Miller County.
