Sunrise Beach Home Engulfed in Flames, Occupant Escapes Unharmed

SUNRISE BEACH, MO – A fierce residential fire broke out today on Silver Maple Drive and Purvis, leading to a rapid response from Sunrise Beach Fire Protection District. At 1 p.m. Firefighters arrived to find the home heavily engulfed in flames.

The team launched an aggressive attack on the blaze through the front entrance. Their swift action resulted in the fire being brought under control within 20 minutes. The sole occupant of the home managed to escape without injury and was subsequently evaluated by emergency medical services at the scene.

The response effort was supported by the cooperation of multiple agencies, including Gravois FPD, Mid-County FPD, Versailles Fire Department, Lake West EMS, Sunrise Beach Police Department, and Laurie Police Department.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Missouri Fire Marshal’s office.
