HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS CONFERENCE TEAMS SEE RESTRUCTURING

The landscape of high school sports is changing, with conference realignments on the horizon. The much-anticipated decisions from the Ozark Mountain Conference regarding team shifts were revealed recently.

While many expected both Parkview and Hillcrest to be welcomed into the Ozark Mountain Conference, leading to potential moves for Glendale and Kickapoo to the COC, there was a twist. Only Hillcrest got the nod to join the Ozark Mountain Conference, aligning with Bolivar and West Plains. This means Parkview, Glendale, and Kickapoo remain where they are.

For now, Camdenton, Rolla, Waynesville, and Lebanon continue their association with the Ozark Conference.

Although the Ozark Conference remains intact at present, shifts and changes could still be on the cards. We’ll keep you updated on any developments.
