Halloween at the Lake! A few things to do at the Lake for Halloween weekend.

As the winds get cooler and the nights longer, the spookiest time of the year is upon us. Halloween at Lake Ozark has always been a time of joy, creativity, and community. But as we embrace the festive spirit, it’s essential to prioritize safety while enjoying the numerous events our community has to offer.

Weather Advisory: Before you set out on your Halloween adventures, check the weather. We’re expecting some rain over the weekend, with temperatures dropping by Monday. So, if you’re planning to be out and about, make sure to dress appropriately, perhaps integrating an umbrella or raincoat into your costume!

For the Little Goblins and Ghouls: Kids have a slew of events to choose from:

  • Hy-Vee Haunted Hollow: Today, from 4 – 7 PM at the Hy-Vee Grocery Store, 929 Hwy D, Osage Beach, MO. A spooky, fun-filled evening awaits!
  • Kid-Friendly Trick or Treat Supper: Today, from 4 – 6 PM at Camden County Historical Society, 206 S Locust St, Linn Creek, MO. Perfect for the younger ones to collect treats in a safe environment.
  • Trunk or Treat @ Camdenton United Methodist Church: On Halloween day, between 5:30 – 7:30 PM, head over to I Wonder Y Preschool Camdenton United Methodist Church, 340 US-54, Camdenton, MO, for a trunk-load of treats and fun.

For the Teens and Adults:

  • Halloween Party at The Encore: Tonight, from 8:00 – 11:59 PM at The Encore Lakeside Grill & Sky Bar, 3076 Bagnell Dam Blvd, Lake Ozark, MO. A chance to show off those creative costumes!
  • Teen Halloween Dance: Tonight, from 8 – 10 PM at La Roca Club, 980 Airport Rd, Osage Beach, MO. A dance night exclusively for teenagers.
  • Captain Ron’s Adult Halloween Bash: Tonight, from 8 – 10 PM at Captain Ron’s Bar & Grill, 82 Aloha Ln, Sunrise Beach, MO. Grown-up ghouls, this one’s for you!
  • Lost Souls Lair & Blacklight Pop-Up Bar: Tonight, from 7 – 11 PM at Lake Breeze Event Center, 7127 Old Route 5, Camdenton, MO. Dive into the supernatural with this unique event.

Safety First! No matter the festivity, remember the basics:

  1. Always go in groups, especially after dark.
  2. Stay on well-lit paths and avoid shortcuts through alleys or unfamiliar areas.
  3. Check all treats before consuming them.
